ME AND MY IRISES…
The hybridisation of irises is my true love and pasison.
Irises fascinate me. From dwarf varieties (DB), through to intermediate (IB) and tall bearded varieties (TB), over one meter tall.
My favourite are tall and dwarf varieties-the two most spectacular groups among bearded irises. When they are in flower I devote much of my time to crossing my irises.
The first varieties I registered were in 2015 with the American Iris Society. They were the first irises registered by a female Polish breeder since 1945.
I am a member of many iris and horticultural societies:
- 2009 – Royal Horticultural Society
- 2010 – Middle European Iris Society
- 2012 – British Iris Society
- 2014 – American Iris Society
- 2012 – West and Midlands Iris Group
- 2015 – Société Française des Iris et plantes Bulbeuses
